Professional Life
I grew up in Turlock and consider Central Valley my home; hence, why I came back after moving away for school to serve my community. I received my Associate in mathematics, Biological sciences, Chemistry and Physics at Modesto junior College. I then attended University of the California, Davis where I got my bachelors in Neuroscience. Lastly, I moved to San Francisco to study doctor of dental surgery at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni. The reason I chose dentistry is because I love working with my hands. I love creating beautiful smiles.
my artistic abilities also come in handy in life. I paint portraits and sceneries. I sew and knit. I make Epoxy projects such as resin coasters and wall arts. What I love the most is making wooden projects. I recently built a chicken coop and a nice bench for the backyard. The best of these project is the Aeroponic tower garden I made. All these have given me the exceptional hand skills and the artistic mind that I utilize everyday in dentistry. To me, creating beautiful smiles using the latest technology is art. my patients smiling and being happy with my work is what makes dentistry fun for me.
Personal Life
Beside my dental family, I have a small family of my own. I got married recently in March of 2022. My husband Benny and I started dating after I finished Dental school; although we have known each other for over 20 years. Prior to getting married, we adopted our first fur baby, Bailey. We enjoy our daily walks and weekend hiking and biking with her. We love the outdoors! As you can see, Bailey is a Border Collie with high energy levels. We have to keep her occupied and drain her energy on daily bases to be able to keep our furniture nice and intact.
